Water technology innovation will be at the top of the bill at Aquatech Amsterdam 2013, the world’s leading trade exhibition in the field of process, drinking and waste water. There has been massive interest from exhibitors in the Aquatech Innovation Award competition which is being organised for the eighth time this year. Having over 70 innovative product submissions for 2013, Aquatech Amsterdam’s organisers have never before received so many registrations.
The prize is intended for the most innovative product, service or solution in the industry. Research & development are of vital importance for the future of any company. However, the competition organisers emphasise that innovation is not only essential for the water industry, but for the world as a whole. The Innovation Award stimulates companies to continue to creatively seek solutions. Visitors of Aquatech can walk along the new Innovation Route which will guide them through all new products.
Innovations for industrial water users
Industrial water users seek solutions and innovations to help them with their policies in the fields of sustainable water consumption, cost cutting, and waste water recycling. Aquatech’s organisers have capitalised on this by introducing new elements to the trade exhibition. On the exhibition floor visitors can use a special route to find their way to innovative water solutions specifically aimed at their segment. Furthermore, the Industrial Leaders Forum will take place for the second time with the panel for this inspiring interactive session consisting of captains of the industry. The forum will be held on 7 November 2013.
Aquatech Amsterdam also innovating Alongside the four-day trade exhibition in November of this year, the Aquatech organisers have ensured that exhibitors and visitors can find one another 365 days a year. The new Aquatech Amsterdam website features an abundance of news from exhibitors who now have the opportunity to fill their profile pages with descriptions of their company, press releases, and product information. They can also link to social media accounts and videos, which in all means that the Aquatech website provides extensive yet relevant content for the entire sector. New tools have also been developed such as the ‘looking for distributors’ tool (available from this month onwards) and exhibitors and visitors can already plan their meetings at Aquatech using a ‘meeting module’.
