Open and free to the public, the online resource is dedicated to exploring the world of microbial control and to offering an online knowledge-sharing platform for the latest advancements in sustainable, advanced technologies.

The information center engages visitors with comprehensive yet convenient information and how it helps us to create a healthier and safer environment. Detailing how microbial control improves our world through a wide range of industries and sectors such as disease and infection control, marine shipping, paints & coatings, wastewater management or oil and gas recovery, visitors are informed on the latest developments in the sector.

The MCEC is an initiative of the world’s leading companies in the development and supply of microbial control technologies and solutions. Suzanne Carroll, chairman of the MCEC, describes the center’s goal to be an information gateway on scientific developments and how they affect society.

“Microbial control technologies play such an essential role in our daily lives. In creating the MCIC we have envisioned a reference point for information on sustainable microbial control science and technologies for industry stakeholders and the public alike,” says Carroll. “To that end, the website has been populated with engaging and easy-to-digest information on microbial control and its many uses in a vast array of industries and applications, as well as illustrations and other visual content.”
