Mozambique’s government has approved the plan of development for Area 4, paving the way for an FID later this year

29 feb 2016
With more than 100 trillion cubic feet of gas having been found in Mozambique recently one could potentially compare Mozambique to Qatar in the Middle East approximately 30 years ago when they made those huge gas discoveries. These finds could position Mozambique as one of the largest LNG exporters in the world. Agreements have been made and approved with the Mozambican government for the development of Area 4

Plans are also in motion for a range of monetisation strategies such as LNG export terminals, gas-to-power projects and possibly, petrochemical plants as well, all of which could unlock Mozambique’s natural gas production capability. Find out what opportunities are available in Mozambique’s Offshore and LNG infrastructure development plans by participating at the 5th bi-annual Mozambique Mining, Oil & Gas, and Energy Conference and Exhibition (MMEC).

The event is taking place on the 27 – 28 April 2016 at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre, Maputo, Mozambique. Register online to attend as a delegate
