Both Libyan production reports and exports status show impressive results this month, with a fresh oil discovery in the Sidra basin by the NOC’s subsidiary, Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) whilst some of the very significant Eastern Libyan terminals have started export operations of crude oil to Italy.
Oil terminals in “Zueitina” and “al-Harriga” have already opened again for business with exports’ potential looking up as they have combined capacity of 180,000 barrels a day, whilst “al-Sedera” and “Ras Lanuf” terminals are expected to start operating again in 2 weeks time.
Senior representatives from key international and national oil companies active in the country, NOC Libya, BP Libya, Shell International and Shell Libya as well as Nafusa Libya will be giving insights on their onshore and offshore operations at the 3rd New Libya Oil & Gas Forum 2014.
The forum is officially endorsed and supported by the NOC and is taking place in less than a month on 29th-30th May at the 5* Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in London, UK.
