
H.E. Humaid Mohamed Bin Salem , General Secretary of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry, inaugurated today the Middle East Pumps, Valves, Pipes and Compressors (PVPC) Industrial Exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), where more than 150 companies are exhibiting their latest products and industry technologies, 60 of which are national companies
H.E. Humaid Mohamed Bin Salem was joined by H.E Mohamed Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Assistant General Secretary of Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry, to cut the ribbon and announce the opening of the only international annual exhibition specialized in pumps, valves, pipes and compressors industries in the Middle East.
"We are very pleased with the event and its concept. All exhibitors represent solid and established organisations operating in oil and gas industry, therefore, there is large potential for productive investment partnerships and cooperation to take place during the exhibition" said H.E. Humaid Mohamed Bin Salem.
"It was noticeable how the majority of the exhibiting companies today take into consideration the environmental footprint of technologies they use, thus they work on producing environmentally friendly technologies and services," He added. He assured that the UAE continues to strongly support the private sector, which is evident in the support of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the PVPC this year.
Bin Salem toured the exhibition, where he viewed the latest technology, equipment and innovations used in the in pumps, valves, pipes and compressors industries.
H.E highlighted that the exhibition supports the industrial sector in the UAE. Affirming that with the strong demand for oil and gas, energy, infrastructure and construction projects, the UAE has become a key market for the growth of pumps, valves, pipes and compressors sector in the region .
The three day exhibition expects to attract more than 7,000 professionals, industry leaders, investors, buyers, and entrepreneurs from 13 countries, regionally and internationally, to witness the best practises and to develop markets and business partnerships.
The exhibition has attracted a number of local exhibitors including Naffco, Ibn Al Nafees General Trading and Valmark Trading.
The exhibition is an international stage for companies and manufactures of oil & gas supply, marine, refrigeration and petrochemicals.
