HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE EXTENSIVE CONFERENCE PROGRAM
- Various Issues in the Gas and Energy Profession
- In the 12th thematic session find out more on the waste gas usage on the Jakusevec - Zagreb landfill and expansion of the gas facility using genset GP4 and landfill gas and combustion air-cleaning systems. Modular sealing system used in the construction of the Compressor station - KS1, which is the most technologically complex facility on the gas transmission system of the Republic of Croatia, for the purpose of protecton against fire, water, dust, rodents and ATEX protection. Potential energy savings at the UGS Okoli site will be considered on an annual basis in two different scenarios: by installing a turboexpander to cover the site's electrical consumption and by installing a site's maximum available power assembly with excess electrical energy to be used for hydrogen production or as an assistance to the existing boiler room. The importance of natural gas and other gases (biogas, hydrogen) for Europe, will also be discussed, especially their role in reducing energy intensity in industry and transport, for the European Union energy transition.
- Poster Session on Various Topics Related to the Gas and Energy industry
- The poster session will display a dozen papers by experts from Croatia and abroad on various topics related to the gas and energy industry such as Power-to-Gas technology, new supply routes for EU gas supply, the circular economy and biogas power plants in Slavonia and Baranja, the circular economy of the European Union, solar power plant Virje in the gas field Molve and a number of other interesting topics. Event participants will have the opportunity to ask the authors various questions on the topic of their papers.
