SARDINIA 2019: LATE ABSTRACTS AND NEW CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS

Do not miss this chance to submit your proposal at https://www.sardiniasymposium.it/en/abstract-form New calls for special sessions are also open: WASTE ARCHITECTURE Waste Architecture Platform is seeking case studies to be used as a project theme in a practical workshop to be organised during Sardinia 2019. This call is addressed to companies, public authorities, municipal authorities, consortia, etc. in charge of managing waste plants and facilities. The case studies selected by the Scientific Committee will be evaluated and assessed by a multidisciplinary team of experts during the planning and design workshop. In particular, the experts will elaborate a concept for the valorisation and/or requalification of the plant proposed, to be returned to the proposing body at the end of the workshop. Read more on how to submit your case study… ENVIRONMENTAL FORENSICS In the field of forensic disciplines, the area of environmental investigation is a highly specific uncharted territory, particularly in view of the complexity of cases of environmental pollution, which require a multidisciplinary approach and the input of highly specialized experts. The Programme Committee is now soliciting the submission of papers to be included in specific sessions on Environmental Forensics applied to Waste Management and Contaminated Sites. WASTE & HEALTH Without doubt this issue is currently fundamental in the field of waste management, as it represents one of the main population concerns associated with the acceptance of WM facilities.
