Alongside the exhibition, this year’s conference will be opened with e key-note speech Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Industry and Enterprise. Two days of conference sessions will follow, with topics up for discussion including the off-grid and autogas sectors, international supply and demand, innovation, and regulatory frameworks. The AEGPL Congress will continue to play a key role in encouraging debate among some of the industry’s most senior stakeholders about how the LPG sector can continue to evolve and grow in the future.

Italy is one of Europe’s biggest LPG markets, with significant usage of the product in both the transport and heating sectors, and Italian companies have joined with AEGPL’s traditional sponsors from across Europe to have their name connected with this extremely prestigious event, with most major Italian companies, and many regional ones set to be heavily represented at the event. On top of the large Italian presence, exhibitors, delegates and visitors will come from around 40 countries from all four corners of the globe to meet and do business.

AEGPL’s General Manager Samuel Maubanc said “The AEGPL Congress is always the landmark annual event for the European industry, and building on the success of Brussels 2012 and London 2013, we have seen almost unprecedented levels of interest from across the LPG industry in Genoa 2014.
