WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL 2017: Water Extraction and Flood Management to organise a joint display which will create synergies
From 28 to 31 March 2017 at WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL the Water Extraction and Flood Management / Flood Protection sections will be hosting a joint display in Hall 4.
Project manager Cornelia Wolff von der Sahl: “These sections share significant common ground which is bound to create synergies. The technical products and methods employed in water extraction play a significant role in flood management and flood protection, for instance where monitoring ground water levels is concerned. In that context wells and pumps are important for managing flood water too. By combining the displays we are creating a joint area for topics that belong together.“
Following a successful launch at WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL 2015 the Federal Association of Companies in the Gas and Water Industries (figawa) will again be organising a combined display for exhibitors representing the water extraction sector.
The specialist supporting programme featuring the much acclaimed symposium on well construction, which in accordance with DVGW-W 120 is recognised as an advanced training measure, and the symposium on flood management, is part of trade fair events and as such an integral part of the exhibition.
