World Class Keynote Speakers announced for 27th World Gas Conference (WGC 2018)

The WGC 2018 team is delighted to announce the first line-up of keynote speakers for the 27th World Gas Conference (WGC 2018), which will be held in Washington D.C., on 25-29 June 2018

 Among the growing list of keynote speakers are CEOs of international energy companies, global gas experts, distinguished energy officials, policy makers and government representatives from across the globe.

The theme for WGC 2018 is "Fueling the Future" and it communicates the important future role for natural gas as a critical source of energy that is clean, abundant, economical and sustainable.

With 16 months of exciting developments still to come, the event promises to be an unmissable opportunity.

Owned by the IGU and conducted for more than 85 years, the event is the largest gathering of individuals associated with the gas industry across the globe. It is the first time ever that the World Gas Conference will be held in a country that is both the largest producer and consumer of natural gas. With the American Gas Association (AGA) serving as the host industry association, the event is, expected to draw more than 12,000 representatives of the gas industry, policy makers, customers, NGOs, media, members of the financial community, and others will be in attendance. The conference will include some 500 speakers addressing the most topical strategic, commercial and technical issues facing the international gas industry. Over 350 energy and energy-related companies will host stands in the 40,000 square metre exhibition – the largest gas industry exhibition ever held.
